On early July, Banco Santander Puerto Rico has approved the Account Payables Consolidation Project, which will have a 5 months estimated duration and will be done by Interservices.

The Project’s main objective is to carry out a reengineering of the Bank’s countable processes, reorganizing the Account Payables module, implementing the whole Process Chain, from the requisitions and activating the Commitment Control module.

These are going to be the most important tasks to be done:

• Incorporation of new entities for administration.
• Reorganization and depuration of information such as: Vendors, Purchase Orders, Items Catalogues and Services
• Implementation of Requisitions and Purchase Orders
• Implementation of Commitment Control
• Direct Payment to Suppliers through ACH (Electronic Transference)
• Activation of Archiving Processes

The approval of this new Project is yet another proof of the trustful relationship between Banco Santander Puerto Rico and Interservices, which has grown stronger through the years.
